Physical Therapist / Occupational Therapist — Inpatient Rehabilitation | Salem, VA

This 91-week contract opportunity places you in an inpatient rehabilitation unit in Salem, VA, where you'll work alongside experienced staff supporting patients through intensive functional recovery.

Shift & Schedule

• Days: 07:00–16:30
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
• No floating requirement

Clinical Scope

The rehab unit serves patients requiring skilled inpatient therapy across a range of diagnoses. You'll carry a caseload of 4–5 patients and have access to specialized rehabilitation equipment including a treadmill rehab system, functional electrical stimulation cycling, neuromuscular electrical stimulation, and balance/cognitive training technology. Unit support includes 1–2 therapy technicians and an administrative assistant.

Requirements

• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) or Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience strongly preferred
• Ability to manage an active, hands-on caseload in an acute rehab environment

• Scrubs required; please avoid navy and maroon
