Pharmacist – Rapid Response
Position Overview
The facility seeks a Pharmacist for a 6-week contract assignment in the Department of Pharmacy. This is a day-shift focused role supporting a decentralized pharmacist model with a collaborative team of pharmacy technicians.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday–Friday with weekend rotation
- Contract Length: 6 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
- On-Call/Call Requirements: None
- Floating: No
Key Responsibilities
- Refill and manage automated dispensing systems
- Prepare first doses and unit-dose medications
- Perform IV and non-sterile compounding
- Support code blue tray maintenance
- Provide clinical and operational support to the pharmacy team
- Answer incoming pharmacy calls and requests
Required Qualifications
- Current, active Missouri pharmacist license in good standing (required at time of application)
- Professional dress code: clean scrubs
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with automated dispensing technology
- Experience with pharmacy information systems
Pharmacy Team
You'll work within a supportive pharmacy environment with 5 technicians on day shift and additional technicians covering midday and evening shifts, ensuring adequate staffing and collaboration.
