Cardiovascular Interventional Radiologic Tech

Position Overview

The facility's catheterization lab seeks an experienced Cardiovascular Tech to join a dynamic team performing high-acuity interventional procedures. You'll support left heart catheterization, right heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), peripheral interventions, pacemaker and ICD procedures in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Schedule & Expectations

• 4 x 10-hour shifts, days (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Tuesday–Thursday; possible 7:00 AM start Monday/Friday if cases are scheduled)
• 2 weekends per month on call (possibly 3 with staff coverage needs)
• 30-minute call response time
• May assist in stress testing as needed
• Scrubs provided

Requirements

• ARRT Cardiovascular certification (RT or RCIS)
• RCIS via CCI preferred
• Kansas state license
• Minimum 2 years of experience; must be able to independently manage STEMI cases
• BLS certification (AHA)

Contract Details

• 13-week assignment
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Comprehensive cath lab new hire orientation with lead technologist
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week contract

Important: Must be in-state for orientation week (first-day modules may be remote). Driver's license and radiation badge required.
