ICU / Med-Surg Travel RN — Grinnell, IA

Days | 13-Week Contract

Schedule

• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 3×12s, 36 hours/week
• Every 3rd weekend required; holiday rotation (1–2 winter holidays)
• No on-call requirement

About the Role

This travel RN position covers an ICU/Stepdown and Med-Surg float environment. Candidates must be comfortable managing patients across varying acuity levels and flexible enough to float between units as census demands.

Required Qualifications

• 24 months of recent ICU/Intensive Care experience
• Travel nursing experience within the past 24 months
• Telemetry reads/measurement competency
• Active Iowa RN license or compact/multistate license at time of submission
• ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• BLS (AHA or ARC)
• PALS (AHA or ARC)
• TNCC (active)

Preferred

• Med-Surg experience
• NIHSS certification (may be obtained during onboarding)

Additional Notes

• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
