Cath Lab Tech — 16-Week Contract
About the Role
Join the catheterization lab as a Cath Lab Tech in a fast-paced, high-volume interventional environment. You'll work across five specialized suites managing 10–22 cases daily, including coronary interventions, peripheral and vascular procedures, neuro interventions, and electrophysiology cases.
What You'll Do
Work as part of a two-tech team—one scrubbing cases, one monitoring hemodynamics and managing procedural support. An RN provides conscious sedation. Occasionally a fourth team member (RN or tech) joins depending on case complexity. A Lead Tech coordinates room assignments and workflow.
You'll manage conscious and moderate sedation environments, handle cardiac drips (Integrilin, dopamine, vasopressors), support intra-aortic balloon pump management, and assist with airway management as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Current ARRT certification with Fluoroscopy endorsement
- Current BLS certification
- Proven cath lab experience (no RCIS or CCT)
- Comfort with procedural processes, sedation protocols, and hemodynamic monitoring
Schedule & Expectations
- Shift: 4 × 10-hour days (first to float)
- Call: Rotate inpatient/emergent call 1× weekly
- Weekend coverage: 1 weekend per month (Friday evening through Monday morning)
- Block scheduling: Available Friday–Sunday if interested
- Hours guaranteed: 40 per week
