Electrophysiology Travel Nurse | Des Moines, IA | 13-Week Contract
This is a day-shift travel opportunity in an Electrophysiology lab for a nurse with strong EP or related cardiac experience. The position involves floating across facilities within the same health system as needed.
Schedule
- 4x10-hour shifts, days
- Start time: 6:00 AM or 7:00 AM
- 40 hours/week
- No on-call or weekend requirements
- Holiday commitment: 1–2 of the 3 upcoming winter holidays required
Clinical Scope
The EP lab manages a full range of electrophysiology and cardiac procedures. Candidates with Cardiac Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology experience will also be considered. The role requires comfort working in a fast-paced procedural environment and the ability to adapt across multiple care settings.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 24 months of current experience in Electrophysiology, Cardiac Cath, or Interventional Radiology
- Active Iowa RN license or compact/multistate license at time of submission
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC)
- Valid Driver's License
- Discipline-specific skills checklist
Preferred Qualifications
- Travel nursing experience
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- EP-specific electronic medical record experience
Additional Notes
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, or nurse manager within the past 24 months preferred
- Contract start: October 12, 2026 | Duration: 13 weeks
