Emergency Department RN — Cambridge, MA
A busy emergency department in Cambridge, MA is seeking an experienced RN for a long-term travel contract. This role offers consistent hours in a fast-paced ED environment managing a diverse, acute-care patient population.
Assignment Details
- Shift: 12-hour evenings, 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 36 guaranteed hours; rotating weekends and every other major holiday
- Contract Duration: 88 weeks
- Start Date: October 20, 2026
- Scrubs: Any color
Clinical Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of ED/emergency nursing experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
- Acute care background required
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
- Active or conditional Massachusetts RN license (verified via NURSYS report pulled within the last week, showing all past and present licenses)
- Flu vaccine required during flu season
Submission Requirements
- Updated resume reflecting 2+ years of ED experience and documented travel history
- Two recent Manager/Supervisor references in matching specialty
- Completed skills checklist for ED
- Driver's license with address matching submitted demographics
- Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of application; RTO cannot be accommodated after confirmation
