13-Week Travel Contract | Days | Monday–Friday
This MRI Technologist position is based in Des Moines, Iowa, supporting a busy imaging department serving emergency, inpatient, and outpatient populations. The role involves power injection and contrast administration, with the possibility of floating across multiple campuses as needed.
Shift Details
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM | 40 hours/week
- On-call: one weeknight (Sun–Thu) and one weekend (Fri/Sat) every 10th weekend
- Holiday rotation required
Clinical Scope
- MRI imaging across ED, inpatient, and outpatient patient populations
- Power injection and contrast administration
- Float across campuses as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 24 months of MRI experience
- ARRT certification (R)(MR) or ARMRIT certificate required
- Strong proficiency with both GE MRI equipment
- Current or recent hospital experience required
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
Preferred Qualifications
- Travel experience
- Radiology information system experience
- Level II trauma imaging background
