Physical Therapist – Inpatient Travel Assignment
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Physical Therapist for an inpatient travel assignment covering a temporary leave. This 24-week contract runs from October 13, 2026, with an anticipated end date around May 14, 2027.
Schedule & Location
- 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
- Based in Glenwood Springs, CO
Clinical Scope
You'll work across inpatient units including the CCU, acute care, and day surgery areas. Your responsibilities include:
- Evaluating patients with diverse diagnoses
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Focusing on improving strength, range of motion, balance, safety, and functional mobility
- Educating patients and caregivers on home exercise programs
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Current Colorado PT licensure (DORA) or compact license
- Minimum 2 years of PT experience; 3–5 years preferred
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- Flu vaccination (mandatory; no declinations; required October 1–April 1)
- Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility
