Perioperative Nurse – PACU, Endo & Recovery
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced perioperative nurse to cover Perioperative, Endoscopy, and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) services. You must demonstrate high proficiency across all three specialties to be considered for this role.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM (10-hour shifts)
- On-Call: 1 night per week and every 5th weekend
- Occasional Fridays when on-call
- Weekend/holiday work required as scheduled (typically rotating)

- Duration: 13 weeks

Requirements
- Current Vermont RN license or Compact
- Minimum 2+ years of current Outpatient PACU experience (documented)
- Current Endoscopy experience (documented, within 1 year)
- Perioperative experience required
- Ability to start and maintain IV lines
- Active AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Own vehicle required
- Supervisory signed reference from employment within the past 2 years
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- Small critical access facility experience
