Medical Technologist – Blood Bank | Boston, MA
This 26-week contract position is ideal for an experienced Medical Technologist with strong Blood Bank expertise. The role is based in a hospital lab setting in Boston, MA, and involves rotating 8-hour shifts across varied schedules.
Shift & Schedule
- 5 x 8-hour rotating shifts
- Shifts will vary (days, evenings, nights)
- 72 guaranteed hours biweekly

Clinical Scope
The Blood Bank department handles a full range of transfusion medicine services. Candidates should be comfortable with complex blood bank testing, compatibility procedures, and high-volume lab workflows in an acute care environment.
Required Qualifications
- ASCP certification (required)
- Blood Bank experience required
- 3–5 years of related Medical Technology work experience
- Rotating shift flexibility
Orientation
Orientation is held weekly on Mondays (excluding holidays). A manager interview is required prior to offer — please have your interview availability ready when you apply.
