Emergency Department — Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility seeks an Emergency Department nurse for a night shift position (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). This is a 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting
- Assess, monitor, and support patients across a range of acuities and presentations
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure safe, effective care
- Document care accurately and maintain compliance with facility protocols
Requirements
- Current RN license (state of practice)
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Emergency nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changing patient needs
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills

- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (nights)
- Hours: 36 per week (guaranteed)
