Emergency Department Nurse
Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Contract: 13 weeks | Start Date: October 5, 2026
About the Role
You'll join a high-volume Emergency Department caring for acutely ill and injured patients in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.You'll work alongside techs, unit clerks, and a team known for strong communication and mutual support.
What You'll Bring
- 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in an Emergency Department setting
- Experience in a Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center preferred
- Strong teamwork mentality, flexibility, and ability to work all areas of the ED
- Comfort giving and receiving real-time feedback
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications (required before start date)
- ENPC certification (required within 90 days)
Schedule & Expectations
- Every other weekend rotation
- Must be flexible to float within ED sections
- Navy scrubs
- Patient experience focus: AIDET and respectful care for every patient
