Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Location: San Antonio, TX

Shift & Schedule:

• 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract

About the Role:

Join a busy emergency department providing high-acuity care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You'll manage a diverse patient population and participate in critical procedures including conscious sedation, intubations, stroke management (tPA administration), chest pain protocols, behavioral health monitoring, and sepsis care.

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2+ years of ER experience
• Current certifications: PALS or ENPC, ACLS, BLS, TNCC, NIHSS
• CEN certification preferred

Key Expectations:

• Float as needed per facility floating policy
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Dress Code:

• Navy scrubs with white, navy, or black undershirts/jackets
• Hair off shoulders, natural color
• No acrylic nails; must be clean and well-maintained
• Body art should be covered when feasible; visible piercings (other than earrings) not permitted
