PCU/Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Nurse – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a PCU/Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nurse for night shift (7p–7a) work. This is a 13-week contract with every other weekend rotation included.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend required
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a progressive care unit, medical-surgical, and telemetry settings
- Perform charge nurse duties and work independently
- Float to other units (ED, MCH) as needed to support facility operations
- Attend department quarterly education sessions
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license (Vermont)
- PCU, medical-surgical, and/or telemetry nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and assume charge responsibilities
- Flexibility to float between units
Location & Logistics
The facility is located in Newport, Vermont. Personal transportation is strongly recommended due to limited public transit in the area.
