ICU Registered Nurse — Night Shift | Bridgeport, WV

13-Week Contract | 12-Hour Nights | 36 Hours Guaranteed/Week

This critical care position supports a single, consolidated ICU managing a diverse, high-acuity patient population. The unit cares for patients across multiple diagnoses, including COVID-positive cases (approximately 30–50% of the census), cardiac and post-angioplasty patients, and those presenting with diabetic ketoacidosis, sepsis, and complications from abdominal or bowel surgery.

Shift Details

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, weekends as scheduled
• Block scheduling available; 36- or 48-hour contract formats considered
• Shorter-than-standard contract lengths may be considered

Float & Coverage

• There is only one critical care unit at this facility
• Float outside of the ICU is highly unlikely (estimated less than 2% of the time)

Requirements

• Active RN license (willing to wait for transfer)
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• BSN not required
• No artificial/acrylic nails permitted
• Candidate must reside or commit to within a 50-mile radius; a copy of a valid, unexpired driver's license is required at submission
• Prior experience with the charting system is not required

Contract Details

• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
• Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week contract
• Start date: September 22, 2026
