CVOR Surgical Technologist – 13-Week Contract

The Opportunity

The facility's cardiovascular operating room service line performs high-complexity cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures. You'll support interventions including coronary artery bypass, valve repair and replacement, heart transplantation, ventricular assist device placement, adult ECMO, TAVR, and thoracic and vascular surgeries using open, laparoscopic, and robotic approaches. The service operates 4–6 ORs including a dedicated endovascular suite, with capacity for four concurrent cardiopulmonary bypass cases.

Schedule & Shift

• Saturday, Sunday, Monday: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• Weekend coverage required; call participation is optional and at your discretion
• 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week

What You'll Need

• Minimum 3 years recent full-time CVOR experience in a high-volume setting
• Demonstrated proficiency across all cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures
• Ability to function independently in a fast-paced environment and hit the ground running
• Current surgical technologist license/certification
• Verifiable references from at least two prior travel assignments confirming readiness without extensive onboarding
• Standard onboarding requirements: skills assessment, facility-specific competencies, health screening, and immunizations
