Respiratory Therapist – NICU Transport
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to support the NICU Transport and Respiratory Therapy teams. You'll provide critical respiratory care to high-acuity newborns in transport and intensive care settings.
Shift & Duration
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Start date: October 19, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver respiratory support to critically ill infants during transport and in the NICU
- Collaborate with the transport and respiratory therapy teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Manage ventilation, oxygen therapy, and airway management for neonatal patients
- Respond to time-sensitive transport scenarios requiring rapid assessment and intervention
Required Credentials & Licenses
- Current Respiratory Therapist license
- EPLS (Emergency Pediatric Life Support) certification required
- Valid state ID/driver's license
- Verification of employment and professional references
Required Health Documentation
- MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccines
- Fit test and TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA)
- Health statement and drug screen
- Criminal background check
