13-Week Contract | Days | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed

The facility is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Nashville, TN. This is a day-shift position running approximately 6:45 AM–7:15 PM, with 36 guaranteed hours per week.

The Role

You'll function as an integral member of the surgical team, providing direct perioperative nursing care across a range of surgical procedures. Responsibilities include:

• Delivering pre-, intra-, and post-operative nursing care
• Collaborating with surgeons and the surgical team to maintain safe, efficient operative flow
• Monitoring and responding to changes in patient status throughout procedures
• Upholding sterile technique and infection control protocols
• Accurate and timely documentation of patient care and procedures

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license (Nursys verification required)
• Current OR clinical experience with demonstrated scrub and/or circulating competency
• OR-specific skills checklist required at submission
• Two professional references required at submission

Onboarding Requirements

• Core competency and unit-specific assessments completed prior to start
• Health documentation: MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Influenza vaccine, TB testing (2-step PPD or IGRA), and fit test
• 11-panel drug screen and background check required
• Color vision assessment required
