Med Surg/Tele – Night Shift
Position Overview
Join the facility's medical-surgical/telemetry unit for a 13-week contract. You'll deliver care to patients across cardiac, stroke, and general medical populations, working nights as part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Guarantee: 36 hours/week
- Weekend Commitment: Every other weekend
- Floating Required: May float within the same discipline across local campuses
Clinical Details
- Scope: Cardiac monitoring, stroke care, and general medical management
Required Qualifications
- Current Iowa or compact nursing license
- 2+ years of Med Surg/Tele experience
- Prior travel nursing work experience
- Active BLS (AHA preferred)
- Active ACLS (AHA preferred)
- Active NIHSS Certification
- Valid driver's license
- Supervisory reference form (completed within 2 years)
