Emergency Room RN — Travel Contract

West Burlington, IA | Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 13-Week Contract

This Emergency Department role places you in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment where strong skills and clinical judgment are essential. You'll assess, prioritize, and manage patients across the full spectrum of emergency presentations, coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams throughout.

What to Expect on the Unit:

• Safe, rapid, and accurate of all incoming patients
• Direct and indirect patient care across varied acuity levels
• Interdisciplinary care coordination
• Occasional on-call during low-census periods; if called in, you must be able to arrive on-site within one hour
• Every-other-weekend rotation; every-other-holiday rotation

Dysrhythmia Requirement:

Candidates must self-study telemetry strips upon acceptance. A basic dysrhythmia test-out is administered during the first week of orientation — passing is required before working in the Emergency Department.

Required Certifications:

• ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC
• MOAB

Required Experience:

• Recent ED experience in a comparable setting
• EMR experience in a similar unit within the last 12 months

Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Contract Length: 13 weeks
