Emergency Room Nurse – Travel Assignment

Position Overview

Join the emergency department as a travel nurse providing direct patient care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You'll work alongside an interdisciplinary team managing acute and trauma cases, participating in resuscitations, and delivering comprehensive emergency care.

Schedule & Contract

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Days: Every third weekend
• Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 12, 2026 (orientation dates: 10/12, 10/26)
• Guaranteed hours available

Staffing Model

You may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses to meet patient care needs.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of emergency nursing experience (first-time travelers welcome)
• Active BLS certification (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military accepted)
• Active ACLS certification (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military accepted)
• Active PALS certification (AHA preferred; ARC or US Military accepted)
• Active TNCC certification
• Valid driver's license
• Completed ER-specific Skills Checklist
• One supervisory reference completed within the last two years

Candidate Eligibility

Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility based on driver's license address. Current or recent employees of the facility are not eligible.
