Medical-Surgical and Oncology Nurse – 13-Week Travel Assignment
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical and Oncology nurse to join its interdisciplinary care team. You'll provide direct patient care in a high-acuity setting, managing complex medical-surgical and oncology patients.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts
- 36-hour weekly guarantee
- Every third weekend
- Contract duration: 13 weeks
- Orientation: October 12 or October 26, 2026
Clinical Requirements
- Minimum 2 years Med Surg and/or Oncology experience (required)
- Proficiency administering Heparin, PCA, epidural, and chemotherapy (if certified)
- High-acuity care experience preferred
- First-time travelers welcome
Certifications & Licenses
- Active BLS (AHA, ARC, or US Military certificates accepted)
- Active ACLS (AHA, ARC, or US Military certificates accepted)
- Active NIHSS (can be obtained during onboarding)
- Valid Driver's License
- Supervisory Reference Form completed within the last 2 years

You may float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed.
Location
Sioux City, Iowa. Candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility (verified by driver's license).
