CT Technologist — 10-Hour Nights | Santa Cruz, CA

Contract: 13 weeks | Start Date: November 9, 2026

Shift: 4 x 10-hour nights | Guaranteed Hours: 40/week

This acute care facility is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a night shift contract in Santa Cruz, CA. The CT department operates two scanners and handles a steady volume of 10–20 scans per shift, with evenings being the busiest. Case mix includes emergency department patients, virtual colonography, and gated cardiac procedures.

A radiologist is available on-site during daytime hours; night shift coverage is provided through a remote radiology service. A hospitalist or intensivist is in-house around the clock.

Shift & Scheduling Details

• 10-hour night shifts, 4 days per week
• Holidays rotate on the same basis as weekends
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts over a 13-week contract

Float & Orientation

• Float within the radiology department as needed
• Radiology floor-specific orientation provided (3–4 shifts)

Scrub Color: Teal

Required Certifications & Licensure

• ARRT (CT)
• ARRT (R)
• BLS
• Fluoroscopy certification
• Active California state license (required prior to submission)

Candidates comfortable with a high-volume night shift environment and a diverse CT case mix — including ER trauma, virtual colonoscopy, and gated studies — are encouraged to apply.
