Cardiovascular Sonographer — Vascular | Sioux City, IA

This 13-week contract is seeking an experienced cardiovascular sonographer with a comprehensive vascular skill set to join an interdisciplinary team providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services.

Shift & Schedule

• 5×8-hour shifts | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• 40 hours guaranteed per week
• Weeknight call once per week; call every third weekend

Clinical Scope

This role focuses on full vascular sonography, including renal scans, pre-op assessments, pain mapping, and other detailed vascular procedures. Expect approximately 7–8 scans per day. The sonographer may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of cardiovascular/vascular sonography experience
• Prior travel experience required
• Active ARDMS (RDCS or RVT) or Active CCI certification required
• Active BLS required (AHA preferred; ARC or U.S. Military accepted)
• Valid driver's license required
• Discipline-specific skills checklist required
• One supervisory reference form completed within the last two years required

Additional Details

• Dress code: Black scrubs
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Candidates who have worked as an FTE or PRN at this health system within the past 12 months are not eligible
