Registered Nurse – Cardiac Catheterization Lab
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced RN for its cardiac catheterization lab. You'll support diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, electrophysiology cases, and interventional radiology work in a fast-paced procedural environment.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, five 8-hour shifts per week
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: November 16, 2026
Required Qualifications
- Current California Registered Nurse License
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of specialty experience in cardiac catheterization lab nursing
- Clean background (no DUI hits)
Clinical Scope
You'll work with patients undergoing diagnostic cardiac catheterization, interventional cardiac procedures, electrophysiology studies, and interventional radiology cases. Experience with hemodynamic monitoring, patient preparation, and procedural assistance is essential.
Key Details
- Charting system training will be provided
- Float flexibility to other units may be required based on clinical experience and hospital needs; orientation provided
- Required onsite courses (Assaultive Behavior and Fire Card) must be completed within 30 days of your start date
- Documentation deadline: 2 Mondays prior to start date
- Guaranteed hours throughout contract
