Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist
Position Overview
The facility operates a comprehensive Cath Lab providing cardiac and peripheral interventional services. You'll work alongside Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists, and General Surgeons in a procedure-rich environment.
Clinical Scope
Procedures include left and right heart catheterization, PTCA, coronary and peripheral stenting, thrombectomy, atherectomy, carotid diagnostic and intervention, pacemaker insertion, tilt table testing, kyphoplasty, and AV graft management. You'll rotate between scrubbing and circulating roles, operating imaging equipment and assisting with pre/post care, patient transport, inventory, and billing support.
Schedule & Call
- Day Shift: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, Monday–Friday (8-hour days)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- On-Call Rotation: Split among four technologists; typically 2 days per week with rotating off-weeks covering evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years Cath Lab experience
- RCIS certification (required)
- BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications
- Recent travel experience preferred
