CVOR Surgical Technologist
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Surgical Technologist for a 13-week contract in Atlanta, Georgia.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience
- Current surgical technologist certification and state licensure
Schedule
- 4 × 10-hour shifts per week (40 hours/week)
- Average 70+ hours per four-week period (may vary)
- One Friday, one Saturday, and one Sunday shift per week (not required to be consecutive)
- Weekday shifts: 5pm–11pm and 11pm–7am
- Weekend and holiday shifts: 7am–7pm or 7pm–7am
- Holiday rotation required, including weekends surrounding holidays
Clinical Scope
You'll support cardiothoracic surgical cases in a busy OR environment, providing instrumentation and procedural support. Float coverage to General OR may be needed as scheduling requires.

This is a fast-paced role with variable scheduling and mandatory holiday coverage. You'll work alongside an experienced surgical team in a high-acuity setting.
