Travel RN – Emergency Department

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week travel assignment. You'll work the night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) in a full-service emergency department, providing direct patient care in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Current RN license (compact license preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of hospital-based emergency department experience
• Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
• Adaptability in a high-acuity, high-volume setting

Preferred Qualifications

• CEN, CPEN, or TCRN certification
• Prior full-service ED experience

Position Details

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Every other weekend; no on-call requirement
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs
• Float Assignments: May float to nearby ED locations as needed

Unit Environment

You'll work alongside a collaborative nursing team in a full-service emergency setting. Patient ratios vary based on acuity and census. The role demands critical thinking, strong communication, and the ability to prioritize care for diverse patient populations.
