Oncology Nurse – 13-Week Contract

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse to join the team on a 13-week assignment. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced oncology unit, supporting patients across the cancer care continuum.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (AM)
• Hours: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: Every Monday

Requirements

• Current Georgia or compact nursing license
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 18 months of oncology specialty experience within the past 3 years
• Strong bone marrow transplant (BMT) experience preferred
• Chemotherapy certification preferred
• Willing to work within a 50-mile radius (local travelers only)

Unit Details

You'll work in an oncology setting caring for patients receiving active treatment, post-transplant care, and supportive services. The role involves standard oncology nursing responsibilities including chemotherapy administration, patient education, symptom management, and coordination with the interdisciplinary team.
