Travel Nurse – Gastroenterology
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced travel nurse for its gastroenterology unit. You'll provide direct patient care in a busy GI setting, supporting diagnostic and interventional procedures while delivering compassionate bedside care.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours)
- 13-week contract
- Location: Atlanta, GA
Qualifications
- 18 months of medical-surgical or telemetry nursing experience required
- Strong gastroenterology experience is essential
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Georgia or compact nursing license in hand
What You'll Do
- Deliver high-quality care to patients undergoing GI procedures
- Monitor vital signs and patient status throughout shifts
- Support the clinical team in a fast-paced procedural environment
- Maintain detailed documentation and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary staff
