Surgical RN – ENT Surgery
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Surgical RN for its ENT surgery unit. You'll provide perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing head and neck procedures, including those with tracheostomies and laryngectomies. The unit also handles general surgery and bariatric surgery cases.
Schedule & Contract
- Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Days/Week: 3 × 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: December 7, 2026
- Guaranteed Hours: Yes
Requirements
- RN license (Georgia or Compact) – in hand
- AHA BLS certification
- Strong perioperative nursing experience, particularly in surgical specialties
- Ability to manage complex airway patients and post-surgical complications
What You'll Do
Support a skilled surgical team in the OR and recovery areas. Responsibilities include pre-operative assessment, intraoperative support, post-operative monitoring, and patient education. You'll work with patients requiring specialized head and neck interventions in a focused clinical environment.
