Surgical RN – ENT/Head & Neck Surgery

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced surgical RN for its ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) unit. You'll provide perioperative care for patients undergoing head and neck surgical procedures, with a focus on tracheostomy and laryngectomy patients.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• 13-week contract

Clinical Scope

This unit manages patients requiring head and neck surgery, including general surgery and bariatric procedures. You'll care for patients with complex airway management needs, including tracheostomies and laryngectomies. Strong surgical nursing skills, familiarity with airway assessment, and comfort with post-operative patient monitoring are essential.

Requirements

• Valid Georgia or compact nursing license (RN)
• AHA BLS certification
• Skilled perioperative nursing experience
• Ability to work nights and occasional weekend coverage as needed
