Surgical RN – ENT Unit

Shift & Schedule

Night shift: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)

7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

13-week contract

Unit Overview

The facility's ENT unit specializes in head and neck surgery cases, including general surgery and bariatric procedures. You'll care for patients with complex airway management needs, including those with tracheostomies and laryngectomies. This is a skilled surgical nursing role requiring strong perioperative experience and proficiency in airway care.

Requirements

• Valid Georgia or compact nursing license (RN)
• AHA BLS certification
• Demonstrated expertise in surgical nursing
• Experience with airway management and post-operative head and neck surgery patients preferred

What You'll Do

Provide direct perioperative care for patients undergoing head and neck surgery and related procedures. Your responsibilities will include pre-operative assessment, intraoperative support, and post-operative monitoring with particular attention to airway integrity and tracheostomy/laryngectomy care.
