Emergency Department Nurse

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Department nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. You'll work in a high-volume ER environment where quick thinking, strong clinical skills, and composure under pressure are essential.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Some trauma experience required
• Current RN license (Georgia or compact state)
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification required

Schedule

• 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• AM shift rotation

Contract Details

• 13-week assignment
• Start date: October 19, 2026
• Atlanta, Georgia

Clinical Environment

You'll manage a diverse patient population in a fast-paced setting, including trauma cases, acute medical emergencies, and critical situations requiring rapid assessment and intervention. This role demands excellent communication, clinical judgment, and the ability to prioritize effectively in a constantly changing environment.
