Emergency Department Nurse – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility's Emergency Department is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week contract. This is a high-volume, fast-paced unit where you'll manage a diverse patient population across all acuity levels, including trauma cases.
Shift & Schedule
- NOC: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Start Date: December 7, 2026
Requirements
- Current RN license: Georgia or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- Trauma experience required
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIHSS certification
What You'll Do
You'll provide direct patient care in a busy emergency setting, triaging and treating acute and emergent conditions, assisting with resuscitations, trauma activations, and rapid-assessment protocols. You'll work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver timely, high-quality care.
What We're Looking For
Clinical judgment, strong communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to stay calm under pressure in a high-volume environment. Travel experience and adaptability are valued.
