Maternity Nurse – Night Shift

Position Overview

Join the maternity team at the facility's modern birthing center. You'll provide skilled care to laboring mothers and newborns during 12-hour night shifts in a private, patient-centered environment.

Shift & Schedule

• 12-hour nights: 7 PM – 7 AM
• Weekends and holidays: as needed
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
• Contract duration: 13 weeks

Clinical Setting

The birthing center features private labor/delivery/recovery rooms and post-partum accommodations designed for comfort and safety. You'll support vaginal deliveries, manage post-partum care, and collaborate with the on-site neonatal intensive care team when specialized newborn care is needed. Caesarean deliveries are performed in dedicated operating rooms.

Requirements

• Current RN license
• ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• BLS (AHA or ARC)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

What You'll Do

Assess mothers and babies during labor and post-partum periods. Provide patient education, manage pain relief options, and monitor maternal and fetal vital signs. Work as part of a collaborative team focused on safe, compassionate birth experiences.

Important Note

Travelers cannot voluntarily leave shifts or refuse assignments and receive guaranteed time. No guaranteed time during orientation week, unit closures, holidays, or weeks with requested time off.
