Endoscopy Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Endoscopy Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment in Decatur, GA. You'll work in a fast-paced endoscopy suite, assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Schedule
- AM shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 5 × 8-hour shifts per week (40 hours)
- Call rotation: Approximately 7 days per 8-week period, including weekends and Friday shifts
- Days worked may vary week to week
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- RN license in Georgia (or valid multistate compact license)
What You'll Do
Support the endoscopy team in patient care before, during, and after procedures. You'll assist with scope handling, patient monitoring, sedation support, and post-procedure recovery. You'll work collaboratively with gastroenterologists, technicians, and nursing staff.
