Emergency Department Nurse – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility's Emergency Department is seeking a registered nurse for night shifts. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment, managing a diverse patient population with varying acuity levels.
Schedule & Contract
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
- Float Assignment: You may float to the Clinical Decision Unit as needed
Requirements
- Current RN license (GA or compact state license required)
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- NIHSS certification
- Willingness to work within a 50-mile radius

You'll work alongside a collaborative team in a high-volume emergency setting. Night shifts bring their own rhythm and challenges—expect variable patient acuity, critical thinking, and strong communication skills. Floating to the Clinical Decision Unit means you'll adapt to different patient populations and workflows while maintaining quality care.
