Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced RN for the Emergency Department on a 13-week travel contract. You'll work the night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) in a fast-paced clinical environment managing acute and urgent patient presentations.

Schedule & Float Requirements

• 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours)
• Every other weekend required
• Float to the Clinical Decision Unit as needed

Clinical Scope

The Emergency Department provides comprehensive acute care across all acuity levels, including trauma, medical emergencies, and time-sensitive interventions. You'll deliver direct patient care, perform assessments, manage acute procedures, and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

Required Credentials

• Current RN license (Georgia or compact state)
• ACLS certification (current)
• PALS certification (current)
• NIHSS certification (current)

Location & Travel

• Decatur, GA area
• 50-mile radius; non-local travelers only
• Start date: December 7, 2026

Contract Details

• 13-week assignment
• Guaranteed hours
