Emergency Department Nurse – Travel Assignment
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Department nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll work in a fast-paced clinical environment, providing direct patient care across a range of acuities and presentations.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
- Float Requirement: You will float as needed to the Clinical Decision Unit to support patient flow and operational needs
Requirements
- Active RN license (Georgia or compact state license required, in hand before start date)
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- NIHSS certification
- Able to work within a 50-mile radius of the assignment location
Contract Details
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 12, 2026
- Guaranteed Hours: Full commitment with consistent scheduling
What You'll Do
You'll assess and stabilize patients, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and help maintain efficient unit operations. Experience with high-volume departments and ability to adapt quickly to different clinical areas is essential.
