Critical Care Nurse – Telemetry

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Critical Care Nurse for its telemetry unit. This is a 13-week contract position based in Atlanta, GA.

Shift & Schedule

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months of critical care experience
• AHA BLS certification (current)
• GA or compact nursing license
• Strong ventilator management experience
• Proficiency with tracheostomies and chest tubes
• Experience with tele-interpretation and clinical assessments
• Travel experience preferred

Clinical Scope

You'll provide direct patient care in a telemetry setting, monitoring cardiac rhythms and managing high-acuity patients on mechanical ventilation. Responsibilities include airway management, chest tube care, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team on patient assessments and clinical decisions.
