OR Scrub/Circulator RN — Travel Contract | Canton, MS
Shift: 10-hour days, 6:45 AM–5:15 PM, Monday–Friday
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
Start Date: September 20, 2026
This OR position supports a high-volume surgical environment handling 15–22 cases per day across a broad range of specialties. Candidates must be comfortable with a fast-paced schedule and on-call responsibilities.
Surgical Specialties:
- General surgery
- Orthopedic fractures and scopes
- Plastics
- GI and urology
- Pediatric dental
- Surgical oncology
Schedule & Call:
- Monday–Friday days with 2 weekday call shifts per week and 1 weekend of call per month
- No float requirement
Required Certifications:
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- PALS (AHA) — required for pediatric cases
Minimum Experience: 2 years in the OR
Additional Requirements:
- Flu vaccine mandatory; medical exemptions require documented evidence of a prior severe reaction
- Fingerprint clearance required prior to start (remote process: allow 10 days; in-person options available the week before start date)
- Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius
Orientation: One week of on-unit orientation with virtual education modules
BSN not required. Active RN license required for submission.
