CVICU Nurse – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced CVICU Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment, working nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
Schedule & Hours
- 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours)
- Night shift rotation
- Overnight hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Clinical Scope
You'll provide direct care to post-cardiac-surgery patients, heart failure cases, and other high-acuity cardiovascular patients. This is a fast-paced environment where critical thinking, strong assessment skills, and compassionate care are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
