Cardiac Sonographer – Echo/Cardiac Sonography | Parkersburg, WV

Contract: 13 weeks | Shift: 4×10 Days, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM | Guaranteed Hours: 40/week | Start Date: September 19, 2026

This cardiac sonography role is based in a dedicated echo department focused exclusively on echocardiograms and TEEs — no floating to other areas. The unit performs 15–20 studies per day and works closely with cath lab RNs, particularly for stress echo procedures.

Schedule Details

• 10-hour day shifts; start time may flex slightly based on first scheduled study
• Coverage every 3rd Saturday
• Call every 3rd day

Clinical Scope

• Standard transthoracic echocardiograms (TTEs) and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs)
• Pediatric echo experience is highly valued
• Stress echo performed in collaboration with cath lab RNs
• Adult and pediatric patient population

Required Certifications & Licensure

• BLS (AHA)
• RDCS-AE (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer – Adult Echo) via ARDMS
• Additional credentials welcomed: RDCS-PE, RCS (via CCI), RDMS, RVT, or VS

Additional Details

• Pediatric echo experience required
• Scrubs provided by the facility
• BSN not required
• Client may cancel up to 2 shifts per 13-week contract
