CT Technologist – 18-Week Contract
About the Role
The facility is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join a high-volume, fast-paced imaging department. You'll perform 30–40+ scans per 12-hour shift across a diverse patient population, including emergency department cases, outpatient studies, and primary stroke center referrals.
Shift & Schedule
- Must be flexible and open to all shift times—specific shift requests cannot be accommodated
- Self-scheduling based on seniority; the facility will work to maintain consistent day, night, or graveyard assignments
- High demand for graveyard availability
- Weekend coverage may exceed every-other-week frequency
- Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Clinical Scope
You'll perform a range of studies including abdomen, chest, brain, cervical, thoracic, lumbar, musculoskeletal, vascular CTA, coronary CTA, and brain perfusion exams. The department also handles biopsies, aspirations, and drainage procedures. You may assist with patient transport as needed based on staffing.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' CT experience (community hospital background preferred)
- ARRT (CT or R), ARRT Advanced, BLS, CA CRT
- Must work independently and efficiently
- First-timers welcome
