CT Technologist
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a CT Technologist for a high-volume imaging department. You'll perform 30-40+ scans per 12-hour shift in a fast-paced environment serving a diverse patient population including emergency department, outpatient, and primary stroke receiving patients.
Shift & Schedule
- 3x12-hour day shifts: 06:00–18:30 or 08:00–20:30 (self-schedule based on seniority)
- Weekends may exceed every other week to meet departmental needs
- Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Open to picking up voluntary shifts outside contracted times, including nights and evenings
- 13-week contract
- No on-call requirement
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years CT experience required (community hospital experience preferred)
- Current certifications: BLS, ARRT (CT or R), CA CRT, or CT
- Compact license in hand at submission
- Proficiency with GE and Toshiba equipment
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- May be asked to assist with patient transport based on staffing needs
Clinical Scope
Work with adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatric patients. Perform CT scans including head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and vascular studies with and without contrast. Experience with brain perfusion, coronary CTA, drainage procedures, biopsies, and aspirations a plus.
