Travel RN – Cardiac Cath Lab
Position Overview
The facility's cardiac catheterization lab is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week contract. You'll work day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) in a high-volume interventional cardiology environment performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Clinical Scope
This unit specializes in left heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), EP ablations, Watchman procedures, renal denervation, and peripheral interventions. You'll support cardiologists and electrophysiologists in a fast-paced, procedure-driven setting alongside experienced clinical staff.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of current hospital cath lab RN experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong procedural knowledge and technical proficiency
- Flexible, adaptable team player with patient-centered focus
Preferred Qualifications
- Electrophysiology (EP) experience
- Femoral access/stemming experience
- Familiarity with relevant charting systems
Schedule & Call
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 1–2 rotating weekends per 6-week cycle
- 1–2 on-call nights per 6-week cycle
