Cardiac Cath Lab RN — Lewisville, TX
Shift: 4x10 Days | 06:00–16:30, with rotating day off per week
Contract: 13 weeks | 36 guaranteed hours per week
Start Date: Mid-November to early December preferred
About the Unit
This active Cath/EP Lab provides comprehensive interventional cardiac and electrophysiology services. The day shift team consists of RNs and a Cath Lab Tech working in a collaborative, high-acuity environment. On-call coverage rotates among a minimum of three team members (at least one RN) for night and weekend needs.
Procedures Performed:
- Left Heart Cath & PCI
- Pacemaker & ICD Implants
- EP Studies & Ablations (including Amulet procedures)
- TEE & Cardioversion
- Loop Recorders
Required Skills:
- Experienced scrub technique
- Experienced cardiac monitoring
Preferred Skills:
- EP scrub experience
- EP monitor experience
Required Certifications: ACLS, RCIS, RRT
Float: May be asked to float within the facility or to a nearby sister facility where skills are applicable.
Weekends/On-Call: Rotating — minimum of two weekends per month; rotating on-call required.
Dress Code: Ceil blue scrubs
