Emergency Department RN

Location: Dallas, TX

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, every other weekend

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

About the Role

You'll deliver fast-paced emergency care in a busy ER setting. Work alongside physicians, mid-level providers, and nursing colleagues to stabilize and treat patients across the full spectrum of acute conditions. Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, monitoring, documentation, and collaboration on rapid treatment decisions.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• 2+ years of nursing experience
• 2+ years of emergency/specialty experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• Current NIH certification

Unit Details

• Float assignments as needed
• Weekend rotation (every other)
• Call requirements apply
• Royal blue scrubs

Dress Code & Appearance Standards

• Clean, healthy nails; no artificial, gel, or acrylic nails
• Hair neat and clean; pulled back if shoulder length or longer
• Tattoos covered whenever feasible
• No visible piercings except earlobes
• Beards, mustaches, and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed
• No extreme hair colors or styles
