Endoscopy RN – Day Shift
About the Role
The facility is seeking an experienced Endoscopy RN for a day-shift position in a busy endoscopy suite. You'll support diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, assist the clinical team, and provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (exact start times vary; details discussed at interview)
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekends: No routine weekend shifts; call-in coverage only
- Call: 1–2 weekday call shifts per week (through 7:00 AM) + 1–2 weekend call shifts per 6 weeks (24-hour Saturday/Sunday coverage)
- Call Response: 1-hour response time required
Requirements
- Active Ohio RN License or compact state RN License (in hand at submission)
- ACLS and BLS current and active
- Minimum 12 months permanent Endoscopy experience
- One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director (specialty-specific; no co-worker references)
- COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
What You'll Need to Know
- Orientation includes onboarding modules (6–15 hours, with 4 billable hours) plus two required assessments during orientation: ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate. You'll have two attempts to pass each.
- Continuous contracts of 1+ year require annual hands-on competency completion.
- Extensions available up to 18 months; 6-month break required after unless deferred by facility.
