Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical Unit

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its medical-surgical unit. You'll work three 12-hour AM shifts per week (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), totaling 36 hours weekly, on a 13-week contract.

Required Qualifications

• RN license (Compact accepted)
• Minimum 1 year 6 months nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Conscious sedation certification required

Clinical Skills & Responsibilities

You'll manage a diverse patient population with responsibilities including:

• Telemetry monitoring
• IV placement and PICC line insertion
• Lumbar punctures
• Care of patients requiring conscious sedation
• Electronic health record documentation

What We're Looking For

A clinically strong nurse comfortable with technical procedures and patient monitoring. Proficiency with computerized charting systems is essential. You'll join a collaborative med-surg team focused on quality patient outcomes.
